What material is this flashing?
Ultraframe flashing is made from composite materials, rather than lead.
How do I install pre cut flashing?
Our prefabricated flashing is easy to install. Grind out the mortar and insert the preformed flashing from gutter end to ridge before sealing.
You’ll be able to find a step by step guide in our downloads. If you have further questions, let our team know.
How much does our pre cut flashing cost compared to lead flashing?
Most code 4 lead costs upwards of £100 for 6 metres. Fortunately, Conservaflash is fully complimentary, without any waste.
Is there any environmental concern?
Unlike lead, uPVC flashing doesn’t have the same risk of oxidising. This means less environmental concern. Additionally, it means less risk of contaminating self cleaning glass, by leaching.
Are there any accreditations?
Fortunately, this product is accredited by the BBA.
How is Conservaflash different from typical lead flashing?
Our Conservaflash comes with three features: first, twin weatherbar grooves on the reverse face, which create weatherseals with locators for silicone.
Second, on the front face of the stepped flashings, capillary grooves prevent wind driven moisture.
Third, the 93° flashing is physically restrained in the mortar chase. This, combined with the wedge clips on the top and wedge ribs on the underside, provide integral mechanical retention. That way, the flashing is held in place during back pointing with silicone.
